Client Thank You / Testimonial

“I want to say thank you for sending us your talented crew for the Grand Opening of Pacific Pearl on July 21st. The Champagne Skirt was a big hit and really looked great in the shopping center. The Stilt Walkers were adorable and made for great photo ops at the step and repeat. You and the ladies are great and I appreciate all you did to help make this event the success it was.”

We had the chance to be part of a Make-A-Wish Event for Izzy at the Twitter HQ. SUMMER OF LOVE ENTERTAINMENT

This year is the 50th Anniversary of the Summer of Love and so of course the Events world is abuzz with events playing off of this theme.

*******

Here are a couple recent parties that we provided entertainment for– customized to this theme.

*******
Bash-Creative hired us to bring 4 Hippie Flower Child Stilt Walkers for a Parade at the ‘Share the Love Gala’ for Berkeley Art Museum on May 2nd.

The parade had musicians and giant silk bird puppets and rainbow flags (from Giant puppets save the World) and featured our Giants- and it lead them from a cocktail reception in one building to the main event in another- acting as a festive and practical way to get guests from a to b.

People loved posing with them and some very classic shots resulted!

On May 4th we were hired by Olive Events who planned a great invite-only events industry Showcase party at the newly renovated Hotel Zeppelin in San Francisco- to show what a perfect space it is for these sorts of soiree’s.
We had 2 makeup artists and 3 body painted character model/go go dancers. The party also featured the Rambler restaurant’s food & drinks and The Dark Room Photo Studio, a DJ, and a Flower Crown making station.

She asked us to create a ‘Cat Eye’ Makeup Station for sprucing up guests looks… and we did that and added some glitter and face paint to the menu so there was something for everyone from subtle to festive.

It has been our consistent experience that activities such as the Flower Crown making station and face paint and any ‘Human Décor’ as we like to call it- are always a good idea for theme parties because guests instantly feel more part of an event when they look the part… so it is fun to engage in as an activity but also leads to guests feeling more connected, and the photos that come out of the event also look that much better!

Our Flower Child Character Model Dancers were a huge hit because they greeted guests, they posed for pics with guests, they blew bubbles and frolicked and lightened the mood of the party, and they danced on the tabletops! (well they danced on the pool table on a cover that was put there for that purpose… but dancing on the pool table doesn’t have the same ring to it. 🙂 )

styling/body paint- Audette Sophia

This giant peace sign is part of the decor at Hotel Zeppelin and of course made a great place to take photos.

WHAT OUR CLIENT SAID:
*****************************

“Everything was wonderful. Thank you so much!! I loved how much the Glam Cat Eye station brought to the event and the face painting addition, and the performers were exceptional. They brought so much beauty & vibrancy to the party and their costumes were spot on.”
– Allison Fox, Olive Events

If your throwing a party that could use some Flower Child characters or interactive stations or stilt walkers… Contact Us and we are happy to help.

Here is the Gallery of the Pro Photographers Shots of the Event.

APRIL HIGHLIGHTS- Catalyst Arts

On April 1st we sent 6 Pro Airbrush Artists to the Ritz Carleton in Half Moon Bay for a Corporate Masquerade Ball for a big Tech Company.

We made some custom Display Boards to give an idea of options, and this included masks, cheek/eye designs, as well as some jewelry & tattoos.
Our station was popular all night long as we added exciting accents to faces and bodies.

It proved once again that Face & Body Paint is popular with all kinds of people, events, and ages of people… especially airbrush!

On April 29th we had 2 very special events!

We sent a new customized Champagne Skirt Hostess and costumed manager to the Art in Bloom Fundraising Gala for The Monterey Museum of Modern Art.
It was an elegant affair at the Monterey Peninsula Country Club and the guests were delighted to see the floral beauty and her offering of bubbly.

And we also sent an event photographer plus our 25 ft Vintage deluxe Airstream Photo Studio… the Catalyst Airship to Danville for the Athenian Schools ‘Dancing through the Ages’ themed fundraiser event.

For 4 hours party guests stepped into the airstream to get props and have their photos taken by our pro photographer and with the help of a friendly costumed hostess/attendant.

March Highlights

Some of the Highlights from a very interesting eclectic March.

****

Early in the month we sent this elegant Champagne Skirt lady to a Wine Country Wedding on March 4th.

****************************************************************************************Then on March 9th we were hired by Mktg event planners to bring some excitement to a very global after party for a conference. Our Living vine 4 legged Stilt Creature and Golden Champagne Skirt were both great hits!

****************************************************************************************On March 21st we added some of our offerings to an amazing Spring showcase put on by our favorite agency client- Entire Productions. The theme was 60’s Palm Springs… and we debuted our brand new Grand Serving Tower as a greeting element… with a vintage air hostess type costume- our model served champagne & sparkling water off 3 tiers of the 8+ ft tall tower.

Later in the night our Mod Squad Fun Squad came out to liven up the dancefloor… featuring our silly tropical stilt walker and 2 psychedelic 60’s dancers… they had beach balls and bubbles and palm fans to fan guests with. Such fun!

****************************************************************************************Then on March 25th we were once again tagged to be part of the very grand affair that CSI throws at City Hall in San Francisco for their staff & friends.
For this years ‘Back to the Future’ theme we created 4 futuristic bodysuits for dancers & our 2 contortionists to wear in the show… we also did fantasy makeup on some performers and 2 complete Body Paintings for some Alien ladies who greeted and posed with guests.
