SUMMER OF LOVE ENTERTAINMENT
This year is the 50th Anniversary of the Summer of Love and so of course the Events world is abuzz with events playing off of this theme.

Here are a couple recent parties that we provided entertainment for– customized to this theme.

Bash-Creative hired us to bring 4 Hippie Flower Child Stilt Walkers for a Parade at the ‘Share the Love Gala’ for Berkeley Art Museum on May 2nd.
The parade had musicians and giant silk bird puppets and rainbow flags (from Giant puppets save the World) and featured our Giants- and it lead them from a cocktail reception in one building to the main event in another- acting as a festive and practical way to get guests from a to b.
People loved posing with them and some very classic shots resulted!
On May 4th we were hired by Olive Events who planned a great invite-only events industry Showcase party at the newly renovated Hotel Zeppelin in San Francisco- to show what a perfect space it is for these sorts of soiree’s.
We had 2 makeup artists and 3 body painted character model/go go dancers. The party also featured the Rambler restaurant’s food & drinks and The Dark Room Photo Studio, a DJ, and a Flower Crown making station.
She asked us to create a ‘Cat Eye’ Makeup Station for sprucing up guests looks… and we did that and added some glitter and face paint to the menu so there was something for everyone from subtle to festive.
It has been our consistent experience that activities such as the Flower Crown making station and face paint and any ‘Human Décor’ as we like to call it- are always a good idea for theme parties because guests instantly feel more part of an event when they look the part… so it is fun to engage in as an activity but also leads to guests feeling more connected, and the photos that come out of the event also look that much better!
Our Flower Child Character Model Dancers were a huge hit because they greeted guests, they posed for pics with guests, they blew bubbles and frolicked and lightened the mood of the party, and they danced on the tabletops! (well they danced on the pool table on a cover that was put there for that purpose… but dancing on the pool table doesn’t have the same ring to it. 🙂 )
styling/body paint- Audette SophiaThis giant peace sign is part of the decor at Hotel Zeppelin and of course made a great place to take photos.
WHAT OUR CLIENT SAID:

“Everything was wonderful. Thank you so much!! I loved how much the Glam Cat Eye station brought to the event and the face painting addition, and the performers were exceptional. They brought so much beauty & vibrancy to the party and their costumes were spot on.”
