November Highlights

November 1st – We sent our Gold Loli Lyra with an aerialist/champagne pour model for a Havana Nights themed Event- at the San Jose Fairmont booked through Entire Productions

November 10th- We provided a classic Ringleader greeter & a Contortionist for a Vintage Circus themed event at the Claremont Resort. Also booked via Entire Productions

November 13, we sent these 3 dazzling Snow Queen Stilt Walkers to the Tree Lighting festivities at Santana Row in San Jose

November 15th we were so thrilled to be asked back once again to an opening night event for Cirque du Soleil!
The Volta premier for San Francisco. In addition to the colorful skaters & unicyclist we had greeting & giving out clown noses, we created & debuted 2 very special masked metallic rose characters that were a beloved photo opp & enchanting walkabout.

November 18th we helped bring some enchantment to the Solano Town Center Mall in Fairfield.
3 Holiday Fairies & a sparkling Snow Queen Stilt Walker.

November 23rd We finally got to put a drag queen in one of our Champagne Skirts for the colorful Opening Night celebration for the Taylor Mac show at Curran Theater in San Francisco!
(we also learned that when the bubbly runs out that this skirt can also be a holder of christmas cookies)

November 29th- Cloud 9 Holidazzle Event at The Westin St. Francis… we once again sent our be-dazzling Stilt Walkers

December Highlights

December was a record breaking month!
We had way too many events to try to feature here… so here are a little sampling of some favorites from the 40 parties we provided Entertainment for!

Dec. 2nd we got to help animate a STEAMPUNK THEMED HOLIDAY PARTY at The Barlow in Sebastapol.

Our Airbrush Artists decorated both Hats & People, our walkabout character delighted people with antics from his puppetry hat and his suitcase of wonders, and our champagne skirt & stilt walkers added excitement and great photo opps.

December 3rd VIANSA WINERY IN SONOMA

Our Golden Rose Champagne Skirt hostess greeted wine club member guests with Viansa’s sparkly pinot chardonnay.

Dec. 6th – COMPASS FAMILY SERVICES @ TWITTER HQ
For the 3rd year in a row Twitter hired us to bring some interactive entertainment to a family holiday celebration for Compass Family Services who provides various services to underserved populations in San Francisco.
Our face painters & balloon twisters, ballerina & princesses brought the party to life with fantasy & delight.

Dec. 7th- We brought this dazzling Gatsby Showgirl Champagne Skirt at the historic Scottish Rite Center in Oakland thanks to Checkers Catering.

Dec. 8th- we brought a customized ‘GROOVY DECORATION STATION’ to The CLIF BAR SUMMER OF LOVE THEMED HOLIDAY PARTY in SF thanks to Spot on Events – and had a line all night of people wanting to get some glitter & flowers & fun embellishments.

Dec. 9th- We brought 2 glittering Stilt Walkers & 2 Beauty techs/Glitz Station to a GLITTER BALL themed Holiday Party.

December 9th- We provided 4 entertainers for a LET IT SNOW Themed Holiday Party for Snowflake at Julia Morgan Ballroom.
Guests were greeted in the lobby by this beautiful hostess with rosé and bubbly & chardonnay… and then a stilt walker & ballerina & our Deluxe Stilt Drinks Dress surprised them throughout the night with visible & drinkable delights.

Dec. 13th- CORPORATE WINTER CELEBRATION @ LEVI’S STADIUM
Guests were greeted before entering the building by this character creating Bubbles of all sizes…The bubble theme continued in the Lobby where our Giant bubble had a contortionist and ballerina alternating inside it while a violinist serenaded them.

Upstairs our Deluxe Stilt Champagne Skirt gave them a welcome drink and our strolling tarot reader & our Fortune booth Tarot reader provided readings to guests.

Dec. 14th- We were hired by Mimi the Party Queen to provide Futuristic Space Hostesses & Out of this World Airbrush for a Tech Holiday Party.
The space waitresses greeted guests with bubbly and then later handed out blinky rings. Guests loved the airbrush because it helped them to get into the theme! Check our FUTURISTIC GALLERY Here

Dec. 15th we were hired by Entire Productions to bring a male & female Champagne Skirt & 2 body painted Living Statue contortionists to a Masquerade themed Holiday Party at the Exploratorium.

& for NEW YEARS EVE Catalyst Arts will provide Specialty Entertainers for 3 of the major parties in San Francisco…
A List SF Wonderland, SF Nightlife’s NYE at the W Hotel, & Imagine NYE at the Palace of Fine Arts! There will probably need to be a whole blog post just for these…

December is always one of our busiest months of the year. Some of the fantastical events we did as we wrapped up an extraordinary 2016!

December 1st- HOLIDAZZLE at the Westin St. Francis Penthouse with 2 of our festive dazzling tall ladies… including a sneak peek to our new LED Dresses.

Dec. 3rd- Steampunk themed Holiday Party at San Jose Tech Museum

We brought 2 Lollipop Lyra acrobats, 2 Stilt Walkers, & 1 Champagne Skirt to this themed holiday party- booked by Entire Productions.

Dec. 16th- Sony Holiday Party at Cirque du Soleils ‘Luzia’

Here our stilt walkers are giving out green clown noses to guests… as you can see they are being eagerly received!

& also on December 16th we did a deluxe Circus themed holiday party package for Coupa Software at the SF Airport Mariott with 2 champagne skirts, a juggling stilt walker, 2 temp tattoo artists, and 2 of our unique tarot readers.

Dec. 19th- Twitter & Compass Family Services Holiday Party

Our sister company MagiKidz sent 2 face painting elves & 2 wandering minstrel elves to this charity holiday party hosted by Twitter.

NEW YEARS EVE!

We had 19 performers animating multiple events throughout San Fransisco for NYE.

A living table in the VIP & 4 of our Tall Elegant Stilt Walkers at the Westin St. Francis for A List SF Passport to the World (our 7th year in a row!!)

and 2 of our LED Stilters + a Deluxe Champagne Skirt in the VIP at the W Hotel for a SF Nightlife event.

as well as 7 of our fantastical specialty performers at Imagine SF at the Payne Mansion in SF… including a wizard magician, mermaid, crystal ballerina fairy, cheese serving skirt model, and 3 stilt walkers!

Winter Wonderland Holiday Parties Galore!

What a crazy busy Holiday Party Season Catalyst Arts saw this December!
We did more events last month (23) than we did in all of 2013!

Many of them were Winter Wonderland themed and we got to debut our new Champagne Skirt and the
2 most popular entertainment categories were Stilt Walkers and Strolling Servers!
