Catalyst Arts, a woman-owned Entertainment & Experience production company, is seeking a well-rounded Sales Development professional.
We are a small but mighty company serving top notch event planners in California for 13+ years. 

 

JOB OVERVIEW:

 

Sales Savvy Account Executive: As the newest member of our team, you will oversee outreach and nurturing of new clients and partnerships. This involves thoughtful outreach, follow-ups, on-site meetings, networking events, proposals, and relationship building.

We are looking for an experienced event professional who is warm with people & very organized and sales savvy. If you appreciate dynamic creative environments, yet consider yourself an executor, this position is for you.

 

Important Details:

Full Time Position starting Summer of 2024. The pay rate is negotiable based on experience and can be base only or base + commission. You can work from home or our office in Berkeley, CA based on your preference, but we are seeking Bay Area local applicants due to in-person meetings and events.

Responsibilities

    • Manage the entire sales cycle from targeting a qualified lead/client to nurturing & securing a deal
    • Run up to 2 targeted outreach campaigns per month
    • Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long-term partnerships
    • Compose compelling emails & Present services to prospective clients on email, phone & video meetings
    • Keep CRM & Sales Targets up to date
    • Provide thoughtful after-sales touch points to maximize client loyalty
    • Remain in regular contact with your assigned accounts/events to understand and meet their needs
    • Work with owner on direct marketing & business development initiatives using LinkedIn
    • Keep records of sales and data to create regular reports

Requirements and skills

  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager, or similar sales/customer service role
  • Knowledge of market research, sales & strategic alliance building
  • Fluid use of Organizational & CRM Software
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills
  • Warm people person with strong ability to create & nurture relationships
  • Organizational and time-management skills
  • Enthusiastic and passionate
  • BA in business administration, sales or marketing
  • Experience in the Events or Hospitality industry
